Kinsey O’Leary, owner and founder of the Sound Space, is a sound healer, Reiki master, mentor, teacher and host. She will lead participants through the sound bath experience. In a sound bath, participants are encouraged to lay or sit comfortably with eyes closed while deeply listening to sound. Sound frequencies are produced by specialized sound healing instruments which allow listeners enter deep states of meditation and relaxation. Sound bath’s are used to tune the brain into alpha and theta brainwave states. In these states, listeners are able to let go of stress, enter deep meditation, and create internal conditions for healing and regeneration throughout the body. Using sound in meditation helps to calm the nervous system, promote a sense of relaxation, aid in mind-body awareness and deepen your meditation practice.
